ENGLISH CONVERSATION

Up to 30 minute, one-to-one sessions on the phone for any woman looking to improve their English. Please call WHISC to book with Annie.

CRISIS

For crisis support, listening ears, walk ‘n’ talk, and solution focused therapy. Call us to book.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

For Financial Crisis Support, please call and book with Kelly on either number above.

MENOPAUSE, GYNAECOLOGICAL, POSTPARTUM & PERINATAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Call to book phone support with volunteer Dr Ishrat Urmi on either of the above numbers.

HATE CRIME

WHISC are a Hate Crime Reporting Centre. A hate crime is any incident which the victim, or anyone else, thinks is based on someone’s prejudice (e.g because of race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender). We are here to support you.

SELF ESTEEM WORKSHOP – BUILDING RESILIENCE IN DIFFICULT TIMES

  • Has the pandemic affected your self-esteem?
  • Are you suffering with loneliness, isolation, fear, anxiety or depression?
  • Would you like to explore this topic in a supportive environment with like-minded women?

This workshop aims to explore your own level of self-esteem and how external and internal factors impact your life. Together, we will develop a toolkit for coping in these challenging times.

DIRECTIONS – TRAINING COURSE
How are you coping during these difficult times? Have you lost confidence or suffering with low-self-esteem?

Our Directions project aims to support women in the Liverpool City Region who are unemployed or economically inactive, and over 18 years of age. The course aims to help you explore your levels of confidence/self-esteem and help you move towards job searches and the workplace. We will support you in developing skills to look for work, education or training, create your CV, practice and expand your interview skills.

This course is partly funded by the ESF.

When: THURSDAYS FROM 15TH APRIL 12.30 – 2.30PM
Duration: 6 weeks (with 1-2-1 support sessions, if needed)
