Christmas Opening

The Drop-In is open until 3.30pm on Tuesday 19th December.

WHISC is open daily for general enquiries. Please feel to drop-in Monday to Thursday, 10am-4pm. As the time given by our wonderful, first class, leaders is done so voluntarily, we are able to provide many FREE classes. We do ask that you please make a donation, whenever possible please.

We also offer specific information and support as follows:


Menopause Support: Second Monday of every month, 1-3pm

Women’s Reading Group: Weekly, 3-4.15pm

Yoga for Wellbeing: Weekly, 4.30-5.30pm

Late opening* 5-7pm


Get Crafty: NEW – every third Tuesday of the month, 12.15-1.45 pm Donation January 16th February 20th &  March 20th

Back to Life Soul Spa: Weekly, 5.30-6.30pm FREE

Yoga: Weekly, 11.45-12.45 pm. Great for mind and body, this class is suitable and accessible for complete beginners to experienced yoginis. FREE 

Strength and Support: Weekly, 2.30-4.00pm. Support Group for anyone with depression or anxiety. FREE

Mental Health Appointments: Weekly, 12 – 4.00pm. Open for anyone who would like information about what support is available from WHISC and other local agencies.  (Wednesday and Thursday) FREE

Domestic Abuse Support Group: Referral from agencies only


Pilates: Weekly, 1-2 pm FREE  (NOT Running 23rd November. Last class 14th December Back on 11th January, 2018.)

Tai Chi: Weekly 6-7 pm FREE. 

Eating Disorder Support Group: Postponed until further notice.

English Class (ESOL): NEW 10.00am-12.30pm A class designed to help women learn or improve their English

The WHY Group: Weekly, 12-2pm. Self-support group for women. FREE

Postnatal & Perinatal Depression: NEW Support Group: Weekly, 10-11.45am. FREE

WHISC is also open for the ‘DO It’ project on Fridays. FREE


Saturday Club: A group supporting the integration of all women, 11.00-2.00pm (FREE Last session before Christmas Saturday 16th December. Back on 6th January.)


‘WINDOWS’ With WHISC: Available to women needing help with using computers or the internet. We cover things such as how to turn a computer on and off, use search engines and basic software… to how to Skype friends and relatives across the world, online shopping, and staying safe online. All sessions are FREE but need to be booked in advance.
